BETC is the largest communication consultancy in France, with offices in London, São Paulo and LA.
In their quest for larger offices, they stumbled upon a disused industrial site, along the Ourcq Canal in Pantin, a Paris district.
They renamed the building 'Les Magasins Généraux', moved their offices there and created co-working spaces and flexible work stations in the building.
The building can now be used by various organisations and has also breathed new life into the neighbourhood.
The offices were designed in line with the wishes of a new generation of employees, who prefer pleasant spaces that are nice to work in.
AVC Gemino substantially approved the employees’ acoustic comfort by using its Gemino office partitions throughout the building. The recessed profiles create almost invisible walls, which seamlessly tie in with the industrial architecture.
The transparency is retained but employees are no longer disturbed by excessive noise.
