AVC Gemino has built its reputation on aluminium doors and walls, creating architectural solutions that bring light, flexibility and a refined sense of detail to interior spaces. Now, the company is expanding its range with AVC Wood — a new solution that brings the natural beauty of oak into its architectural partitioning systems.
The introduction of AVC Wood marks a new chapter for AVC Gemino. It is a step beyond aluminium, opening the door to a different material experience while drawing on the same attention to design, craftsmanship and functionality that defines the existing range.
From aluminium to oak
Aluminium has long been at the heart of AVC Gemino’s solutions. Its strength, versatility and clean aesthetic make it a natural choice for contemporary interiors, from offices and hospitality spaces to residential projects.
But architecture is not only about structure and performance. Materials also shape how a space feels. Oak brings warmth, texture and a sense of connection to nature — qualities that can transform the atmosphere of an interior.
With AVC Wood, these qualities become part of the AVC Gemino offering. The new range introduces wooden profiles and doors, allowing architects and interior designers to explore a more natural material palette without moving away from the clean lines and architectural character of the AVC solutions.
“We have always focused on creating architectural solutions that combine design and functionality. With oak, we are introducing another material into that conversation. It gives designers a way to bring warmth and natural character into their projects, while retaining the precision and versatility they expect from AVC Gemino.”Olivier Gustin , CEO & owner, AVC Gemino
AVC Wood is designed as the wooden counterpart to the existing F-, G- and S-Wall Solutions. It features a 25 mm frame, with options for single or double glazing, and is available in 60, 80 and 100 mm versions. The range also includes wooden doors and glazed wooden doors, offering flexibility in how the system is used and detailed.
The result is a solution that can be specified across different interior concepts, from warm and tactile residential spaces to refined office environments. The natural grain of oak adds character to the profiles, while the range of configurations supports different design and functional requirements.
“AVC Wood is a natural evolution for us,” says Olivier Gustin, CEO & owner at AVC Gemino. “We have always focused on creating architectural solutions that combine design and functionality. With oak, we are introducing another material into that conversation. It gives designers a way to bring warmth and natural character into their projects, while retaining the precision and versatility they expect from AVC Gemino.”
One of the strengths of oak is its ability to work across a wide range of interiors. Its natural tones and grain can complement both contemporary and more traditional materials, from stone and concrete to textiles and other timber finishes.
AVC Wood builds on that versatility. The system can be used to create glazed partitions, room dividers and doors that bring definition to a space without losing the sense of openness that glass provides. The choice of wood finishes also allows designers to consider the overall material palette of a project, creating a coherent look from one space to the next.
For architects and designers, the introduction of AVC Wood means more choice (and combinability) within the AVC Gemino range. Aluminium remains a key part of the company's portfolio, while oak offers a new way to approach interior partitioning through the warmth and character of natural wood.
AVC Wood is now part of the AVC Gemino solutions range, alongside the existing F-, G- and S-Wall Solutions. The new W-Solution brings together the qualities of oak with the design flexibility of AVC Gemino’s architectural systems.
